This product is a USMNT signed Nike soccer ball from the US players that were on the US roster prior to the 2002 World Cup. Please note: not all players that signed this ball made the 2002 US World Cup team due to injury or competition. This ball was signed at a training camp by players that were present. I have searched autographs to identify many of the signatures but some I have not been able to ascertain. Due to Head coach Bruce Arena and assistant Dave Sarachan having signed it I know the time period is between 1999 and 2002. Sarachan left the US team after the 2002 World Cup. Ben Olsen signed the ball, He broke his ankle while playing for Nottingham Forest in December 2000. So this ball is from a training camp for a WC Qualifier in mid to late 2000. Players names I have identified are Brian McBride, Earnie Stewart, Steve Ralston, Jason Kreis, Greg Vanney, Ben Olsen, Chris Armas, Ante Rosov, Frankie Hejduk, Carlos Llamosa, Clint Mathis, Eddie Popoe and maybe Brad Friedel. As an original autographed item, this collectible piece holds value for fans of soccer and the United States Men’s National Team. The ball is a tangible piece of memorabilia from a significant moment in soccer history, making it a prized possession for collectors and enthusiasts alike. This ball is an official Nike US Soccer ball. It has never been played with. It is on great shape in like new condition.
